What is Bhakti-Vriksha?

It is a small group of people meeting every week for the purpose of leading a harmonious & happy life. In these Bhakti-Vriksha groups everyone learns how to nourish their spiritual creeper and to cultivate their service attitude in co-operation with each other. This system keeps the groups small, maintaining an intimate atmosphere of personal care and nurturing, not possible in large groups. The group is part of a greater organization of many groups, affiliated to the nearest ISKCON temple in your area. The groups are supervised and the members are guided through a systematic program of training and various extra-curricular spiritual activities. It finally, gives one a sense of belonging in a family environment

What is in it for me?

1) The group leader takes care of all the group members and each new member is also individually supervised by a personal guide, who has walked a few steps ahead in his spiritual journey. This will give one the sense of belonging & care in every single moment of his/her life.

3) Due to its highly interactive nature of the weekly meetings, one’s communication skill, leadership qualities and self confidence increase with ease.

Activities Involved

Weekly Meeting (Satsang) – Its 2 hr meeting, includes kirtan (group singing), Mantra Meditation, Lively Discussion & plan for the week, Prasadam (Spiritually Sanctified Karma Free Vegetarian Food)

Spiritual Outing (Picnic) – Once every 2 months we go for an outing with all our members to an exciting place where we will have active spiritual games, team building exercises and some crunchy delicious prasadam.

Vyuha Programme (Outreach program) – Once every 2months, we perform a big program exhibiting all the talents and skills of our members by performing dance, singing, drama, spiritual discourse, discussions, prize distribution & prasadam.

Japa marathon – Once every 6 weeks we go for an 8 hour Mantra Meditation. This helps one to taste & experience the spiritual realm of the creation.

Samskars (Purificatory processes) – According to Varnashrama Dharma, one is advised to perform certain purificatory process at each stage of one’s life to help one gain more blessings from Krishna & become successful in life. Some of the samskars are Baby Shower ceremony, baby naming ceremony, auspicious education initiation ceremony and so on.

Workshops – We do this according to members demand. We cover various topics like life style management, art of living, character building workshop etc.

Study Groups – It’s a weekly group gathering where the serious members gather to deeply study and analyze the conclusions of Vedic literatures and try to apply in their day to day life.

Temple Service – For every festival, our members are allotted to volunteer certain service in the temple. By this one gains the personal touch & blessings from the Lord.

Temple Tour – Once in two months, we visit big historic temples around the country to study and experience the hidden secrets of Spiritual life.

Pilgrimage Trips – Once in a year, we arrange a pilgrimage trip to Mayapur, Vrindavan & Jagannath Puri in India. These are transcendental trips that give unity amongst all the members, nourish your soul and recharges your batteries from the constraints of the material world.

Personal Care - Meeting in a very close family atmosphere, all the members will have their own personal guide who will be an integral part of the member’s life and will be with them in both the sad & happy moments of one’s life. One will get total care from within and around.
